I am developing a new game and it is my first 3D game. It is an FPS (First Person Shooter). This game is way harder to make than my first game, Bioshock 2D, was. The game is set in a grungy world with many tunnels and plenty of bad guys. These bad guys are different, they are zombies. The game is called Day Of The Dead. Boring code. This is showing what makes the camera see textures, lighting, and a bunch of other stuff.
This is the engines room setup. I had to make 2D walls for the 2D room editor. The 3D walls, ceiling, floor, and characters are made through code.
This is a screenshot of the game. You may notice that the wall in the center is covered in a dark fog. That is my only way making shadows.
